Saxophone Syncopators are led by Ladislav Fanzowitz, baritone sax, with Frederika Vavrovicova, alto sax, Pavol Hoda, alto/soprano sax, Jan Gasparek, tenor sax.  Lev Pupis guests on alto and soprano sax on Silhouettes and Ikigai.  Evgeny Irshai’s music is highly inventive, aided by the sound of restored vintage Buescher saxophones dating from the 1930s.
