Bulgarian composer Yassen Vodenitcharov is resident in Paris, hence the French musicians involved in these recordings of his recent compositions. They display his use of melodic sound, allied to musical subjects that are visually suggestive. The title piece, is derived from a manuscript written between 1450 and 1520.
