First Eastern European recording of music by British composer Rebecca Clarke (1886 – 1979). Her early career began as an orchestral violist, it was only when she went to America that Rebecca Clarke became a recognised soloist and composer. Her Sonata of 1919 is her most famous work, taken up by her viola legend teacher Lionel Tertis (1876 – 1975).
