The wonderfully named Chicago Gargoyle Brass and Organ Enemble formed in 1992 by a group of students, but these days is a specialised, classically trained, concert ensemble.  The organ used in their recording is situated centrally in the First United Church of Oak Park, Illinois, dating from 1982, built by Casavant Freres, Limitee, Opus 3544.   Craig Garner made the arrangements of the selections by Purcell, Holst and Britten.
