Bach’s Goldberg Variations are the material of musical legend.  Was Johann Gottlieb Goldberg the harpsichordist who inspired his sleep deprived employer to commission a sleep inducing work from Johann Sebastien Bach?  One of the first recordings to enter our catalogue, Miki Skuta’s piano version of the Goldberg’s has attained legendary status.
