A Black Birch in Winter – American and Estonian Choral Music

Estonian Chamber Choir, Voces Musicales arrived on the scene in 1999.  American conductor David Puderbaugh began his relationship with the choir some years ago.  This selection is a mix of Estonian pieces by Evelin Seppar (b. 1986), Part Uusberg (b. 1986) and Maria Korvits (b. 1987) and American pieces by Kile Smith (b.1956) and Gregory W. Brown (b. 1975).  The liner notes have all the sung texts in English and composer biographies by David Puderbaugh.
